DOWUL Secure New Headquater
The Dock Workers Union of Liberia (DOWUL) has achieved a significant milestone by securing a new headquarters in 2025. This achievement marks a new era for the union, providing a dedicated space for leadership, advocacy, and services that will strengthen the representation and welfare of dock workers across Liberia’s seaports.
The new headquarters will serve as a hub for union activities, negotiations, and worker support programs, reinforcing DOWUL’s commitment to transparency, accessibility, and progress. This development is a testament to the leadership’s dedication to improving working conditions and securing better opportunities for all members.
The newly inducted leaders have pledged to uphold the union’s core values of unity, transparency, and workers’ empowerment, working tirelessly to improve working conditions, secure fair wages, and foster a strong partnership between workers and management.
Securing a permanent headquarters for DOWUL is not just about having an office—it’s about establishing a foundation for stronger advocacy, better service to our members, and a future where every dock worker’s rights and interests are fully protected.
